President Trump chose Susan Monarez, acting as the director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, to constantly run the agency.
The president withdrew his first nominee, Dr. Dave Weldon, a few hours before the interrogation confirming. If this is confirmed by the Senate, Dr. Monerez, a researcher from Zakładzi, he will be the first non-year-old who has been led by the agency for over 50 years.
“Americans lost confidence in CDC because of the political and catastrophic prejudice of improper management,” wrote the president about Truth Social, adding that Dr. Monez will cooperate with the Secretary of Health, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to deal with the epidemic of a chronic disease and restore the responsibility of the agency.
“As an amazing mother and a devoted public official, Dr. Monez understands the importance of the protection of our children, our communities and our future,” wrote Trump.
50 -year -old Dr. Monerez adopted the position of director a few days after Mr. Trump took office in January, leaving his perch as the deputy director of the recent Federal Biomedical Research Agency created during Biden administration.
Dr. Monarez was to be used for the first choice of Mr. Trump for work, Dr. Weldon, cannot be confirmed. But after Mr. Trump decided to withdraw the nomination, Republican helpers in the Senate said that Dr. Weldon did not impress them on the agency’s set.
Dr. Weldon blamed two republican senators – Susan Collins from Maine and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana – for turning against him.
Some experts said that Dr. Monerez meant a pointed contrast with Dr. Weldon, whose skeptical views on childhood vaccines were in line with Mr. Kennedy’s views and aroused an alarm in the medical community.
Mr. Kennedy’s response to the growing bruise of the Oder in Texas and Recent Mexico, including his summer vaccination recommendation, drew significant criticism. Dr. Monerez is an expert for biological safety who supported Covid vaccines, and its selection can signal the growing impatience of moods against vaccinations.
“He has a forceful reputation as a solid researcher and expert in the field of infectious diseases,” said Dr. Georges Benjamin, executive director of American Public Health Association.
“He clearly understands public health and the role of government public health,” he said. “I believe that the public health community can cooperate positively with her.”
But Dr. Monerez spent weeks away from Atlanta, where the agency is based. According to several employees, CDC did not participate in the agency meetings in the whole hand or offered to provide employees disturbing the hustle and bustle from recent weeks.
The comments section on the inside of the agency was quickly removed after the employees began to notice that they wanted more communication from it.

Instead, the office of the director of the function served as the channels of the White House and Department of Health and Social Welfare Department.
For example, she cooperated with the initiative to reduce costs known as the Government Department in order to plan the agency reduction, according to a former official, they know about this matter.
And when the Trump administration ordered CDC to delete websites from his website containing phrases such as “LGBTQ” and “Transgender”, Dr. Monarez did not resist or try to keep significant data, according to three people with knowledge of events that they spoke on condition of anonymity due to retaliation.
