The Deals brand also appears to be driving search interest by viewing Ahrefs’ free search data in Keyword Explorer. Searches for the keyword “Offers” have increased by 34% over the past year and we expect search volume to continue to grow by another 58%.

I imagine the growth of this brand has more than a little to do with TikTok’s strategy. Thanks to 2.2 million likes, 52 thousand followers and millions of views on each video, Deals has built a forceful brand for itself on social media.

5. Plot (1356% escalate)

Storylane brilliantly used its own product to create a uncomplicated, visual experience for some of the largest SaaS tools available, including Canva, Salesforce, and Google Search Console.

Judging by the keywords they’ve chosen over the past year, they’re improving their search results by leveraging valuable brand search traffic generated by other tech giants.

Borrowing existing keywords from more established, complementary brands is a astute move on Storylane’s part. Not only do they align with user intent by providing quick, visual answers to frequently asked questions, but they also showcase your product and turn top-of-the-funnel questions into middle-of-the-funnel with strategically placed product CTAs.

Like Deals, Storylane has also seen forceful organic brand growth. The number of searches for the brand name increased by 20% in 12 months, to 2,000. searches per month. According to our forecasts, this number will escalate by another 37% over the next two years.

As their target audience, I have admired Storylane’s marketing for some time – they pursue calculated growth strategies (like those above), but also have the courage to invest in fun, neoteric brand marketing. For example, here they trick The Office “Dundies” with their own reward:Dundies demo

And that’s when they got into Out-Of-Home (OOH) marketing by renting a truck to advertise at the Drive by Exit Five B2B marketing event.
