It’s impossible for anyone to replace it All the best digital marketing conferences because no one has been to them all. However, since our team has already visited quite a few people, we thought we would keep things elementary and share with those we love.
Here they are, starting with those with confirmed 2025 dates.
Next event: April 10-11, 2025
Location: Brighton, UK
Prices: £275 (+VAT)
BrightonSEO is a search engine marketing conference held twice a year (April and October) in the seaside resort of Brighton, UK. It is probably the largest and most notable SEO conference, attended by thousands of marketers every year.
I’ve been there 5 or 6 times (at least) and even talked a few times.
Here are my examples of using Ahrefs in 2024:
Here’s me on the main stage explaining how most people view SEO:
It’s an extremely lively conference with a great atmosphere, lots of free goodies and lots of networking opportunities.
We are also regular sponsors of the conference, so it’s worth a visit if you want to meet the team and get your hands on the infamous “Ahrefs t-shirt”, the SEO book for beginners, or even our children’s book:
Side note.
If you cannot afford to buy a ticket but would still like to attend, please try to enter free voting card. They are held periodically and apparently about 20% of people who vote get a free ticket, so the chances are pretty good.
Next event: September 3-5, 2025
Location: San Francisco, California, USA
Price: $899.25
Inbound is a three-day digital marketing conference hosted by Hubspot, “dedicated to the latest trends and tactics in marketing, sales and artificial intelligence.” It is a huge conference attended by 11,000 people over three days. participants and over 200 speakers.
Here’s a quick recap of the 2024 event:
My friend Ryan (a lawyer) attended this event a few years ago. You can see its size here, in one of his artistic photos:
The conference also attracts some very notable speakers. Dharmesh Shah (Central point), Eric Siu (Single grain), Linda Tong (Network Flow), Neil Patel, Shannon Duffy (Asana) and even Ryan Reynolds (yes, the Ryan Reynolds) have spoken out in the past.
If you want to quickly get acquainted with the event, check out their YouTube channel where you can watch some of the talks for free.
Next event: September 11, 2025
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Prices: 349 euros +
Digital Olympus is a conference that aims to support participants escalate organic search traffic. It started with a tiny event with about 150 participants in Wrocław in 2019, which I was lucky enough to not only attend, but also speak at.
It was a great conference back then, but it looks like it has evolved into something even bigger and better, judging by the photos from the 2024 event:
With tickets starting at a very reasonable €349 and the 2025 event offering more insights from great speakers like Kevin Indig, Aleyda Solis and Crystal Carter, I’d say it’s worth attending if you’re interested in increasing traffic from organic search results.
Next event: To be determined (probably November 2025)
Location: TBD (previously Singapore in 2024)
Prices: ~estimated $650
It takes place at the stunning Pan Pacific Orchard (recently crowned the best new skyscraper in the world), the inaugural Ahrefs Evolve conference took place in Singapore in 2024, attended by over 500 participants from over 50 countries.
The list includes many well-known names from the SEO and marketing industry, including Cyrus Shepard (Zyppy SEO), Aleyda Solis (Now), Bernard Huang (Clear scope), Nik Ranger (Dejan’s Marketing) i Jason Hennessey Hennessey Digital)… and their slides have never looked better than on our giant screen:
We also organized pre-event workshops led by industry experts and Ahrefs specialists.
The jury is out on where Evolve will take place in 2025, but the US and UK are grave contenders. (Want updates? Subscribe here).
Next event: 2025 (date to be determined)
Location: Nottingham, UK
Price: ~75 pounds estimated
I live in Nottingham and was lucky enough to be invited to speak at this event in 2023:
My talk was about SEO (because that’s what I know best), but the event covers everything from SEO to PPC to content marketing and social media. It’s also surprisingly vast, with over 600 participants, four lanes and 20-minute clinics where you can get one-on-one advice from an expert.
Maybe it’s because it’s located in the north(?), but this conference has a very relaxed and cordial atmosphere. The one I attended had some great food trucks (IMO Nottingham has an underrated food scene) and the people from Hallam were very cordial.
Furthermore, it is a non-profit event with all proceeds going directly to local charity Rainbows Hospice. In 2024, the conference collected over 15,000. pounds.
Next event: 2025 (to be determined, but probably in October)
Location: Las Vegas, United States
Prices: to be determined
Founded in 2001, Pubcon started as an informal SEO meetup in a London pub (that’s why it’s called PubCon). It is now something much larger, but still quite modest compared to events such as BrightonSEO, where the last conference in October 2024 attracted 300-400 participants.
It has been for years hundreds of speakers including our own Patryk Stoks. Last year’s event was dominated by lectures on artificial intelligence, including:
- Using artificial intelligence to create content
- Optimized for AI-powered search
- Understanding the role of artificial intelligence in rankings
The most popular location for the conference seems to be Las Vegas, which has been held there several times already. That said, PubCons have also been held in Florida, Boston, Austin, and even London.
